Vejer paragliding

Paragliding is hugely popular in Vejer de la Frontera. Look up into the sky at any giving moment and you are likely to see colourful paragliding wings soaring over the town. Paragliding offers the experience of complete freedom in a ‘gravity-bound’ life.

Experience the joy of flying over the crenelated walls and white buildings of Vejer or fly in peaceful silence over the flat canopy of pine-clad hills. Find that updraft that takes you over the wide golden sands of the Costa de la Luz and the deep blue/green of the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean.
Or, if you like the ground just a little closer, sit in a chair in the gardens of El Poniente (a pub which was once a windmill) soaking in the unmatched views and watching paragliders take off from ‘landing strip’ in the grounds.
